About the Isaacs Center

Founded in 1964 in the settlement house tradition, the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center provides Meals on Wheels, adult day services, a senior center of over 2,100 members, after school and evening programs for children and teens, youth employment services, adult education classes, cultural and educational events, and workshops.

The Isaacs Center is located in the Isaacs/Holmes public housing development on the boundary of the East Harlem and Yorkville communities. Its programs serve the immediate community, and their youth employment and adult education programs reach citywide. Isaacs Meals on Wheels delivers meals from 42nd Street to 106th Street on Manhattan's East side.
